Payment Methods

Secure payment options and billing management for your care services

Accepted Payment Methods

Credit & Debit Cards

Note: We do not accept cash payments, bank transfers, or cryptocurrency. All payments must be processed through our secure platform.

Adding Payment Methods

Access Payment Settings

Go to your account settings and select "Payment Methods" or "Billing Information".

Choose Payment Type

Select whether you want to add a credit/debit card or connect a digital wallet.

Enter Payment Details

For Credit/Debit Cards:

  • • Card number (16 digits)
  • • Expiry date (MM/YY)
  • • CVV/CVC security code
  • • Cardholder name
  • • Billing address

Verify and Save

We'll verify your payment method with a small authorization charge (usually £1) which will be refunded immediately.

What We Don't Store

  • • Full card numbers
  • • CVV/CVC codes
  • • PIN numbers
  • • Banking passwords

Your payment information is processed by our certified payment partners:Stripe and PayPal. We never store your complete payment details on our servers.

Managing Payment Methods

Setting a Default Method

  • • Go to Payment Methods in your account
  • • Click "Set as Default" next to your preferred method
  • • This will be used for all future bookings
  • • You can change this anytime

Removing Payment Methods

  • • Click the trash icon next to the payment method
  • • Confirm the removal
  • • Cannot remove if it's your only payment method
  • • Cannot remove if you have pending charges

Updating Card Information

  • • Click "Edit" next to the payment method
  • • Update expiry date or billing address
  • • For security, you'll need to re-enter CVV
  • • Save changes to update your information

Multiple Payment Methods

  • • Add up to 5 payment methods
  • • Choose different methods for different bookings
  • • Useful for business vs. personal expenses
  • • Each method can have different billing addresses

How Payment Processing Works

Booking Confirmation

When you book care, we authorize the payment amount on your card but don't charge it yet.

Care Completion

After your care visit is completed, the payment is processed automatically.

Invoice & Receipt

You'll receive an email invoice and receipt within 24 hours of payment processing.

Payment Timeline:

  • • Authorization: Immediate upon booking
  • • Charge: Within 2 hours after care completion
  • • Receipt: Within 24 hours of charge
  • • Bank statement: 1-3 business days

Failed Payments

Common Reasons for Payment Failures

Card Issues:

  • • Insufficient funds
  • • Expired card
  • • Incorrect CVV code
  • • Card blocked by bank

Account Issues:

  • • Billing address mismatch
  • • International transaction restrictions
  • • Daily spending limits exceeded
  • • Fraud protection triggered

What Happens Next:

  • • You'll receive an email notification about the failed payment
  • • We'll automatically retry the payment after 24 hours
  • • If it fails again, you'll need to update your payment method
  • • Your account may be temporarily restricted until payment is resolved

Billing Address

Your billing address must match the address registered with your bank or card issuer. This is required for security verification.

Required Information:

  • • Full name (as on card)
  • • Street address
  • • City/Town
  • • Postal code
  • • Country

Important Notes:

  • • Must match bank records exactly
  • • Can be different from service address
  • • Update if you move or change banks
  • • Used for tax and compliance purposes

International Payments

We accept international cards, but please note:

  • • Your bank may charge foreign transaction fees
  • • Currency conversion rates apply
  • • Some banks block international transactions by default
  • • Contact your bank if payments are declined
