Creating your CarerNest account is quick and easy. Follow this step-by-step guide to get started with our care marketplace.

Step 1: Visit the Registration Page

Go to the CarerNest homepage and click the "Sign Up" button in the top right corner, or visit our registration page directly.

Step 2: Choose Your Account Type

Select whether you're looking for care (Care Seeker) or providing care services (Carer). This determines the features and dashboard you'll see.

Step 3: Enter Your Basic Information

Provide the following required information:

• Full Name: Your legal first and last name
• Email Address: A valid email you can access
• Phone Number: For account verification and communication
• Password: Must be at least 8 characters with mixed case and numbers
• Location: Your postcode or area for local carer matching

Step 4: Verify Your Email

After submitting your registration, check your email for a verification link. Click the link to activate your account. If you don't see the email, check your spam folder.

Step 5: Complete Your Profile

Once verified, you'll be prompted to complete your profile:

• Care Seekers: Add care requirements, preferences, and family details
• Carers: Upload qualifications, experience, and availability

Step 6: Identity Verification

For security and trust, all users must complete identity verification:

• Upload a government-issued photo ID
• Take a selfie for facial verification
• Provide proof of address (utility bill or bank statement)

What Happens Next?

After completing registration and verification:

• Care Seekers can immediately start browsing and contacting carers
• Carers will undergo background checks before their profile goes live
• You'll receive a welcome email with next steps and helpful resources
